05 Dec Acheson Sweeney Foley Sahota launches class-action on behalf of Canadian Forces

Acheson Sweeney Foley Sahota has filed a class action lawsuit alleging sexual assault and harassment of female and LGBTQ members of the Canadian Armed Forces. This lawsuit has the breadth and reach to help hundreds or thousands of current and former service people, in BC and across Canada.

It is unfair to ask Canadian Forces members to protect us when they need every ounce of their courage to survive discrimination, abuse, harassment, and assault inflicted by their peers and superiors.

If you are a survivor of discrimination, harassment, bullying, or sexual assault inflicted on you while serving our country, we encourage you to come forward. Join Nicola Peffers, our representative plaintiff, in breaking through the culture of fear and silence that female and LGBTQ service members live and work in.
